A Beautiful Litter of Three

We have always wanted to connect with Connie Hackenberg of Loco Meadows in PA to breed with her beautiful red dogs. Amelia’s last litter seemed the perfect time to do this.

Amelia and Raggs were out with Alan together in 2016. We knew Raggs for his wonderful temperament and beautiful confirmation, so we headed to PA in late December. Two months later, February 23, 2021 – CH Wool ‘n Wind Eye of the  Storm “Amelia” and GCH LCM It’s All About That Base “Raggs” had a beautiful litter of three!

“Lucy” our first red girl soon moved to Somerville, MA with our nephew Tanner to be his ‘main squeeze’ and eventually our next showgirl. Ethel, now ‘Mellow’ moved to Brooklyn, CT to keep ‘Pearl’ (Macy’s puppy) company. They have moved in together to be ‘sisters’ and take the place of Ken and Laurie’s former pair of Standard girls, who they lost at 16 years of age. ‘Reggie’, who we thought we’d be keeping for awhile, eventually moved in with Audrey and Patrick in Barrington, RI where he is destined to live the high life on Narragansett Bay!
